"The future starts today, not tomorrow."
John Paul II
The desire to bring hope to others and accompany them through life’s hardships initially led me to seminary, where I discerned a call to the Catholic priesthood.
Conversing with nursing home residents, praying with death row inmates, and sharing meals with parishioner families are some of the many experiences that taught me the significance of meeting people where they are, listening attentively, and speaking with intentionality. Those four years of formation were providential in preparing me to be a husband, father, and counselor.

During my graduate training, I had the opportunity to intern in a variety of settings — an outpatient addiction center, an inpatient psychiatric unit, and private practice — each offering a unique window into how people heal and grow. After graduation, drawn to the collaborative and client-centered approach of private practice, I was fortunate to work with two different group practices before founding Crux Counseling.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, traveling, watching sports, and spending quality time with friends and family.
